Below is the light rail information you need from PDX:
The light rail (MAX) located at the outside ground level of Portland airport. It departs every 10-15 minutes all day. Buy your ticket inside (by exit door ) or outside terminal by MAx station. The ticket is good for 3 hrs. The light rail (Trimet MAX) will bring you from PDX to downtown area and connects to Trimet bus # 70 at Loyd center or Rose Quarter. So leave Max at Loyd center but of you miss it you can also catch 70 at Rose Quarter as well. Bus 70 brings you 2 blocks away from the house. Tell your bus driver to let you out station after SE Tacoma & SE Milwaukie.
City blocks in Portland are short. only block and half away from bus stop.
Cab ride information:
Taking I-205 south to Johnson Creek Blvd will save you about 1.3 miles
Taking I--84 west to downtown and 99E could be faster
Both trips should not exceed 16.5 miles or fee of $40
